TIMES BENGKULU, JAKARTA – Most of the city in Indonesia has tried to introduce their local product to be well known in their own area as well in the country.  For this reason, Mojokerto built a souvenir centre to take the local product to another level.

This souvenir center is located at the 2nd floor of Sunrise Mall. This mall could be found at Jalan Benteng Pancasila No 5, Mojokerto. You will know this from the big sign written "Produk unggulan Kota Mojokerto".

There are more than 20 vendors displaying their product t this souvenir centre. You could find almost anything you need at this place. From food to fashion. Even some kitchenware.

"We shorted them out of 34 thousand local MSMe. We choose those who have come prominent loca product othe introduced to the community," The Mayor of Mojokerto, Ita Puspitasari said.

The vendors were given facilities for free by Dekranasda. Dekranasda has been appointed by the local government to manage and guide all local MSMes.

Still according to the Mayor, beside the grand opening of the souvenir centre, they also has some appointment with the local company as a marketplace that will distribute the local products.

The local government also took the local bank to cooperate with them in managing the income the vendors get. "We got to achieve another level for our local products. We have got the resource for it," she added.

This souvenir centre of Mojokerto was hope to be able to bring more visitor to the city. What about you? Willing to get some souvenir from it?
